Pastor Todd Creason has lived in Fithian all his life. He is married to Valerie, and they have a grown daughter and a high school age daughter Katie. Todd is employed by the University of Illinois, so he is a bi-vocational pastor. He prepared for pastoral ministry during the last three years by participating in the Alternative Ministerial Education of the American Baptist Churches of the Great Rivers Region (Illinois and Missouri). He has also taken several classes at Urbana Seminary.
Favorite verses to describe his ministry comes from Ephesians 4:15, "... speaking the truth in Love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ." and Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." (NIV)
Office hours are usually Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. or at other times by arrangement. Both Pastor Todd and secretary Paula Mitchell are available during these hours.
