Welcome to Muncie Baptist Church

Serving Christ since 1852

Muncie Baptist is an inviting, joyful fellowship of Christians of all ages.   Our congregation has a great history and a present commitment to be the body of Christ in the present.  We welcome questions about our faith and/or our church.

Muncie Baptist Church was founded in 1852 and has continually held worship through the years.   Our average attendance for morning worship is around 80 attenders.   The church includes both young adults and older adults.   A choir sings on occasion (musicals at Christmas and on Resurrection Sunday).  Special music is often included in our worship.   Wednesday night Bible studies are frequently held and led by lay leaders in the congregation.

The Church house, 202 W. McCarty Street:   Located next to the church building, this house has been a temporary home to three missionary families since 2009, and has recently been completely renovated.

Our congregation seeks to discover God's Word through worship and study.   We desire to do God's will through serving the LORD and addressing people's needs in the spirit of Jesus our Lord.   Muncie Church is a place where we work to be the Body of Christ, loving one another and doing God's purpose and will.   New people are welcome to worship and serve with us.
